Philosophy in Room 15

After discovering the amazing artist and architect Hundertwasser during the Art Festival, we decided to explore some of his ideas in Philosophy.  Hundertwasser believed that:

Nature + Beauty = Happiness

But what did he really mean by that?  We decided to explore those words and see what they mean to us in Room 15.

We started with Nature, looking at what Nature is and what it isn't.

We had lots of great discussions and came up with some ideas about what Nature is:

Nature is beautiful.
Nature is wild.
Nature is living creatures.
Nature is alive.
Nature is never made by people.
But we needed to check our thinking.  Is nature always all of those things?  More talking and thinking lead us to come up with some counter-examples.

A dead plant is not beautiful but it is part of Nature.
A rock isn't alive or a living creature but it is part of Nature.
A pet cat isn't wild but it is part of Nature.

But the one thing we could not find a counter-example for was:

Nature is never made by people.

So this became our definition.  Now we need to use our philosophy thinking to come up with definitions for Beauty and Happiness.
