Here is our first post for Hahangia Time 2017. The following photos show you a bit about what we got up to. We explored with water, paint, materials, collage, stop motion and tires. We also made obstacles and extended the playground with added equipment. We played in the sandpit and molded clay. We had a great time wondering and problem solving.

Explorer Time 1st March 2016 - Rain or Shine!
Here we are at our Explorer Time... testing theories, working together, creating camera obscures, creating masterpieces with clay, painting/dying with all the colours of the rainbow, figuring out how to draw 3D shapes on 2D paper, looking closely at feathers, playing with blocks and building cities with lego! What fun!

Whanau Whetu 2016
Welcome back everyone! It is so great to see everyone's smiling faces again. We had our first Explorer Time for the year this afternoon. There were lots of things going on, including construction with boxes, experimenting with rolling tyres, clay, scavenger hunts, weeding the garden and finding very interesting insects to look at with the discovery scopes. It was fun, even in the humid Auckland heat.
